• Check tyres for tread
• Check tyres for cuts or damage
• Set tyres to correct pressure
• Visually check brakes where able
• Check condition of coil springs
• Check condition of shock absorbers

Vehicle fully lifted

• Inspect engine for leaks
• Check exhaust system
• Drain old engine oil

Vehicle lowered to ground

• Replace oil filter for new
• Fill engine with correct grade oil
• Re-set service indicator
• Stamp service book
• Carry out road test

Road Test

• Check starter motor efficiency
• Check all gear select correctly
• Check power steering function

Vehicle on ground

• Lubricate door and bonnet hinges
• Visually check exhaust gasses
• Check central locking operates
• Check windscreen for damage
• Check function of seat belts
• Check operation of horn

Engine Bay

• Inspect AUX belt for wear
• Carry out battery SOH test
• Clean and coat battery terminals
• Top up screen wash bottle
• Check for coolant leaks
• Check radiator condition
• Check power steering fluid
• Check visible fuel lines
• Replace air filter for new

Vehicle partially lifted

• Measure tyre tread depths
• Check wheel bearings for wear or play
• Check steering rack for play
• Remove all road wheels
• Visually inspect all brakes
• Check callipers for leaks and security
• Inspect rear drums and shoes
• Check wheel cylinders for leaks
• Visually check brake hoses

Vehicle fully lifted

• Check underside for leaks
• Inspect all visible brake pipes
• Inspect all visible fuel lines
• Visually check exhaust system
• Check inner and outer CV boots
• Check steering rack gaiters
• Check any visible suspension rubbers
• Replace sump plug if required

Vehicle lowered to ground

• Refit and torque tighten wheels

Road Test

• Test brake servo action
• Test CV joints for wear

Vehicle on ground

• Adjust washer aim if required
• Check condition of reg plates
• Check security of wing mirrors
• Check all blowers operate
• Check all tell tales operate
• Carry out diagnostic code read

Engine Bay

• Check all visible belts for wear
• Check security of battery
• Check coolant level and condition
• Visually check coolant system
• Inspect visible power steering pipes

Vehicle partially lifted

• Check all tyres are fitted correctly
• Measure all brake discs and pads
• Measure rear drums and shoes

Vehicle fully lifted

• Inspect underside of vehicle
• Check for gearbox oil leaks
• Check and top up gearbox oil level
• Inspect drive shafts for play
• Check rear differential for leaks

Vehicle lowered to ground

• Replace cabin filter for new
